CHRYSANTHEMUM DAISY
Known as Chrysanthemum Paludosum, these daisies are easy to grow. They are hardy and compact with masses of small white flowers with yellow centres. It is ideal for garden beds, borders and containers.
A small pot of seedling like the photo above costs $2 from Parklea Markets.
It grows to about 40cm high.
Plant them 25cm apart in a sunny spot. We find that eventhough it is a sturdy plant, it is unable to withstand a harsh summer and would usually dry up like weeds and wither away. However, you will find many seedlings sprouting on the ground again the next season. They grow and spread very quickly like weeds too and the cycle starts again.
